Anybody who watched the 2010 reboot of Hawaii Five-O will recall the Large Hawaiian shrimp truck restaurant owner KameKona. Played by Taylor Wily (Born Teila Tuli).
Taylor was a regular on the show, with the Five-O crew usually eating at his truck, plus apparently had a questionable past but turned for the better. Plus he had connections the Five-O department used. He also appeared in a few episodes of the Reboots of Magnum P.I. and MacGyver (since they were all filmed on Oahu). He was also in the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall. In his younger days he was a pro-sumo wrestler and even fought in Japan where he learned mixed martial arts as well going by Teila Tuli.
But his character Kamekona he was best known as. Even had the Japanese Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto work with him on one episode. But Kamekona was always coming up with some new plan to make money and spread his name. Like even operating later in the series a Helicopter tour around the island. But he's now part of Oahu Hawaii lore.

We're only half way through the year and 2024 is already trying to take as many of our beloved celebrities from us.

I never watched any of those reboots so I didn't know him even remotely. However, it's always sad when we lose someone as, relatively, young as he was.
