Fords' Golden Tour: The Proto-Fords Concept

For how naturally everything related to Fords just seemed to flow out once I figured out the core cast, you might be surprised to know just how tricky it was to lock in things originally!
This is a reconstruction of some plans I had written down for a Fords 'canon' all the way back in December of 2021, a solid five months before I had come up with the characters of Holly and Bridgette. As you can see, Azure and Delouise required very little tweaking to get right, and their characterizations were essentially locked in from day one. Faye required a pretty big rework to bring her up-to-date with the themes of the rest of the cast and what they represent in the modern world.
The other three ideas were scrapped SO early on in the process that it's actually the first time I've ever drawn their designs myself! Who's your favorite from the old draft? Vote now on your phones!
