I was thinking about publishing a R-rated version of the next few weeks of Carry On comics on my Patreon page to try to raise a little cash, but after doing some research, it turned out that it would be more of a headache for me than I really felt like tackling. I would have had to change the setting to "18+" and put a photo of my phiz and my driver's license on file with a third-party verification site, just waiting for the next security breach; to change back to "general audience," I would have to submit to a review . Pfah.
So I repurposed the teaser ad that I had already drawn into another Ursa Major Awards reminder.

Oh wait thought you ment FA
I don't have a camera phone, so the selfie is out. And I don't want a picture of my driver's license out there just waiting to be stolen.
And then, in order to switch back to "safe" content, you have to submit a request to a review board, and then (IIRC) remove all the over-18 stuff.
Apparently it's Mastercard who demanded this to crack down on kiddie porn or some such. Patreon uses Mastercard's payment architecture, so they have to comply.
Artists who draw porn would take all that as part of doing business. For me, it's just too much of a hassle.
But I can't think of any other way to have a paywall in order to make a little side cash on erotic art. So...pfft.
