Exploration of clothing attire as part of being aethersynth Solidarity's crew, and the wider SocDem military.
There was actually a whole week of process work where I effectively had to invent Light Era military organisation theory, including its titles and how proficiencies are distributed. I may make a Patreon post describing this in the near future.

It makes me pretty curious—what exactly does one do as part of the crew for a sentient vessel like Solidarity? I guess that’s one part of the Light Era world I really haven’t taken the time to read into yet.
"I mean, sure, I and everyone in this room still sees a doctor. But we don't need one to like, live with us, certainly not twenty of them."
"The difference is that if your arteries start to get clogged, your metabolic system doesn't kill everyone in a certain radius through a violent explosion."
I own a military surplus coat much like that in olive-green, this would be right up my alley to wear.
so the commissar system allowed skilled military officers to still be able to be in command, while having someone who is voted in by the troops and the people to keep the officer and unit as a whole in check.
edit: to add onto this, while i wish i could know the details of the command and rank system; the "overslator" to me seems like the person who would be the commanding officer, aka captain in this case while the "rally marshal" seems like they would act as the commissar. with the high abettors acting as a sort of NCO or warrant officer corps
