Here's a portrait of Rusty -> Firepaw -> -Fireheart -> Firestar.
I'm calling him Fireheart because that's what he's called at the end of the first book, when this picture takes place.
I realise now that he should probably be a bit darker orange. Oh well.
I just finished reading the first Warrior Cats book. I actually hadn't heard of the Warriors series until a few years ago.
I wish I could have known about it as a kid, because it would have completely shaped my life. 8-year-old me would have been absolutely obsessed with the series.
I've been playing around with the idea of writing some incidental music to go along with each chapter of the book. I've already written the music for the prologue, I just need to record it.
However, I'm not too sure if my ADHD will allow me to finish this project, so let's see how it goes.
The model for Fireheart in this picture is a cat named Cheese, who unfortunately went missing in December.
I'm afraid I don't know if he was ever found :(
I might try and Cheese's mom and find out.
