But my plans changed now.
I wish Mika pressured Faari more to eat the body, but between her injury and not wanting to lower her opinion (like that addition btw), I get why that didn't happen. Hopefully Mika can convince her friend later.

Fantastic story, by the way! Really am enthralled and am curious to see what comes next!
Also wondering if the next chapter will have any changes temporary or otherwise to Mika's proportions from having 2 large meals at roughly the same time.
Finally it seems there is a side effect of her upgraded forms faster digestion, normally her body processes it with relatively minimal weight gain but since its done faster it goes right into "storage".
Nefirti also brings up a good point. Mika keeps adding weight and that could come to bite her in the ass later. Mika's enemies are most of the time stronger and more experienced than her, and the reason she keeps beating them is because they often have no way of anticipating these powers that she has up her sleeve. But there will come a time when that won't be enough. Probably that's the purpose of this ghost. The creature deliberately avoids Mika and appears to be preparing itself, growing stronger before a direct confrontation. And since it seems like Shin sent it to deal with Mika, it's unlikely that the rabbit's current skills will work on it.
Also, it appears that the lizard form was not a perpetual transformation but rather something like an "install" in a fighting game. I assume that while she is in that state, she gains a boost to all of her stats and abilities, but it quickly depletes her energy reserves (as seen by her accelerated digestion). And unlike her other abilities, it requires transcendence to activate. I wonder if this form will keep evolving as she defeats and consume more demons or she will unlock new forms instead.
