What is a tarbeast? How do they work? This handy chart helps explain some of their mysterious inner workings.
Tarbeasts are an original species/character I created back in 2021, starting with the original 3: Lian, Gnurf, and Travis, who's displayed here as an example of how they work. While they originally started as a generic monster design, they've since evolved as I've given more thought to how they live.
Tarbeasts are a poisonous, cave dwelling , immortal alien species from a hot desert planet covered in pits of tar and slime. They spend their time invading other worlds, causing trouble, getting up to mischief, and generally being rowdy and disruptive. As such, they're an open species, and I don't at all mind seeing more of them pop up.
