Question but, how were you able to get such a clean view? Was their no bars? Or was the glass crazy clean?

It was a window.
I've put the lens directly on the glass.

Camera's have come a long way then...last time I tried that with a digital. I had to manual focus as it kept focusing the glass (Course the glass in the zoo's in my state are all cloudy)
