Been wanting to work on a color study, also rewatched HTTYD2 recently and decided to use this scene. I have always loved the quick moment where you Hiccup lays his hand over Toothless' nose and you can see his muzzle twitch as he scents the air, along with the clear hesitance they animated into his tail fin slowly opening as he puts 100% of his, quite literal, blind faith into his rider.
