You feel yourself get bigger, an abdomen forming and twitching before you can get your arms free of the mass. One leg, then the other and another push through into being, quivering with newborn balance before steadying with near skeletal plates. Your third eye- something you didn’t have before- opens just in time for more bony plates to break through the surface, protection for your new velvety soft fur.
Well, it seems your hopes in leaving this place have been cut short…
