“Big Guy, I mean… I… am still confused,” Big Guy said. “Why is me belly still this same size when both bloated and not?”

“Bloated?” Charlie asked, poking a finger into Big Guy’s belly. “Big Guy, that’s all fat. You seem hungry, though. That gut can be heard a mile away!”

“Me does feel hungry, yes.” Big Guy felt his mind fog up a bit. He couldn’t explain it, but he didn’t want to think too hard right now. He just wanted food.

“Better get enough food to eat thirty-six pounds, then!” Charlie teased. “Though, for a guy as gluttonous as you, that may be pretty easy.”

“Thirty-six? What happened to twenty-four?!” Big Guy struggled to get to his feet, but after a minute, he managed. “You said me need to get… erm… I need to get four to win contest, twelve to leave, and twenty-four to me name, even though it is Big Guy? You be making escalations! Stop it!” Big Guy stamped a foot on the ground and glared up at Charlie. His eyes widened when he saw a wolf-like face staring back at him. He recognized the cream-colored muzzle, the brown ears, and the black markings on top of its head. It was his head… but Charlie was wearing it?

Panicked, Big Guy slapped his hands to his face. He could see his snout, but it was not the cream color it had been before. It was now grayed out. Now that he realized it, he saw his hands and arms were the same, dull-gray color as his snout. His fear only rose when he realized he had no fur.

“You’re that worried? Here, let me help you out some!” Charlie pressed his hand onto Big Guy’s belly. Big Guy attempted to protest, but as before, he froze up. He watched in horror as Charlie began to rub his belly again. With each successive rub, he could see his belly expand outward. Though it felt wonderful, he was too afraid to enjoy himself now, nor get lulled into feeling relaxed.
