Day 2 of Inktober arrived with the second prompt: Spiders.
We all know the Contessa from Sly 2 Band of Thieves ‘aight?
Suppose she possibly has an ancestor in Japan?
For those who know their Yokai they would probably think of the deadly half lady and half spider the Jorogumo.
Rioichi has run afoul of one! The hideous spider lady’s children continue to wrap him up in sticky webs as she looks on at her prize!
A prize I’m sure she would savor if she were contemplating on what do with him!
In my own head canon I imagine Rioichi encountering other creatures from Japanese folklore! Past Inktobers I had him up against a Nekomata named Takiyasha who in turn summoned the huge frightful skeleton the Gashadokuro!

It certainly makes you wonder if at some point he encountered a ninetail/kitsune! That remains to be seen! ;3
I’m sure Rioichi will be saved! As I showed in my past pics he has no shortage of friends!
