Several days later and with a pot belly he didn't have before, the little bear hacks up a mass of hair, clothing, shoes and other detritus. This isn't a very pleasant experience but he'd get no sympathy from the people he just digested. They are no longer around to poll for their opinion, though, except as bear fat.

I love that giant round belly. TBH, I'm imagining it as still pretty filled with a churning mess, and a pile of bones.
