UPDATE:

Hey OFN gang,

I wanted to give an update to those who are following, participating and ing my furaffinity project, Officer Fight Night.

CHARACTER UPDATE:

Currently, we have SIX participating fighters DONE:

-Heux, the maned wolf:
-Olrick, the coati:
-Winter, the arctic fox:
-Brandon, the red fox:
-Jinka, the hyena:m
-Crafty, the coyote:

Additionally, more competitors are coming; the art of these characters still needs to be complete, but they’re on their way:

-Barry, the grizzly bear
-Antonio, the pitbull
-Noelly, the arctic fox
-Dimitri, the panther

In total, we have 10 confirmed characters, but there’s still room for more!

I plan on cutting off the registration by Mid-October, or until we reach a max of 15 characters.

FIGHTS UPDATE:

So, some of you may be wondering, how does officer fight night even work?

This is the initial idea:

There will be a total of 3 rounds, each round I will use an AI that will choose a winner based on their statistics:

-Weakness: Three weaknesses that the character has.
-Strength: Three strengths that the character has.
-Weight: How heavy the boxer is.

The AI will generate each round as a story, including final results and the winner. Afterwards, I will modify and adapt the story as needed until each round is polished. I will then proceed to publish the story alongside some images to go along with it.

The tourney will be round robin style, meaning all competitors will eventually face each other. The person with the most wins this season is the victor, and will be named the champion!

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

Lastly, I have a few questions I’d like to have some of you discuss. Feel free to reply to each other’s comments below or simply just reply to this post. You can also PM me!

-Discord: A discord for communication/social purposes? And to keep all participants, ers and followers under the loop.

-Pre-Fight/After-Fight Interviews: To make things more interactive, participants of ed characters can give a background story and/or interview. Before and after the fight, they can also have an interview. (Maybe explaining why they think they will win, why they lost/won, what they think of their opponent, taunting and counter-taunting etc.)

-Story Lore: An actual story that follows what led up to this series, with all (optional) participating characters included and interacting with each other outside the ring. including some conspiracies, plot and villains maybe? (This would be a much bigger endeavor, but might be really interesting! Would definitely love to see the community come together for this, and possibly make it more interactive.)

-Other Ideas: Concerns, suggestions, comments… anything! Write it below!
