Worried that summer's about to end without having enjoyed a nice dip in a pool, Soot's taken it into their own wisps to infect a pool toy to help coax their dear Trainer to swim with them! After all, what would be a better life guard than something that can effortlessly float? Would you take them up on their offer?Hey-ho! How's the summer been? My course is finally over and I'm free to make art again! Woot! To ease myself into the fray, I wanted to have a bit of seasonal fun. Here we have Soot showing off that they're not just bound to infecting and controlling suits, despite their name!
It's been a long time since I've done a colored piece so I'm quite rusty at it... I do hope all that time practicing and making new brushes was well-worth it! I'd love to hear what you all think about this kind of rendering!
That being said, for the time being, I'll probably be aiming for a post every other Saturday since I work glacially slow... Hopefully I'll speed up in my work flow someday! I hope you all have a great day and catch you on the flip side!

Honestly the color here looks amazing, I'd say it was more than worth it. Definitely looking forward to seeing more, colored or not
As for them being a pool toy, I'm sure that they'd be more than happy to help you have a relaxing day in the pool! Though, wouldn't it be hilarious to imagine Soot just practicing their expressions in front of a mirror when no one's around?
Wonder how much control soot actually has over that pooltoy...like could they actually get it to stand up and walk around? Or is it stick sitting there despite them possessing it?
Soot definitely has full control all the way! Walking and moving the pool toy like a body would be dead easy for them. I'm sure they've done it to some unsuspecting pool-goer and they pool toy for laughs too...
And yeah your art is still amazing imo
