On board her spaceship, Gooey's bedroom isn't like any bedroom you've ever seen. Being a slime, Gooey naturally sleeps a little bit differently from most creatures. She sleeps in a large pod in the middle of her room, and as she rests, her gooey body glorps about like the inside of a lava lamp. She can enter and exit through those black holes in the bottom of the pod. You might notice that the center of her room surrounding the pod is a giant dish in the floor. This dish is padded with a squishy material. Why? Because it's meant for her friends to relax in of course! It's the perfect place for them to sit while Gooey slowly fills up the dish with her warm slime~

I mean it makes sense for a flavored mass of jiggling goo to sleep in a lava lamp especially with the slime dispensing out into the dish for any of the creatures they found cute to sit around in.
