I don't normally take direct students or apprentices, but sometimes I'll make an exception. Desiree is one such exception, who in addition to being absolutely adorable, is also a very diligent and quick-learning student. I have been teaching her about enchanting and the creation of magical devices, and while she has plenty left to learn, she has also made great progress so far.
It's a very informal affair as well. She simply comes over to my house now and then and I'll teach her for a while, with breaks here and there. We chat about other things as well and I'm always happy to share some tea or baked goods with her. Seeing her rapid progress makes me proud and I look forward to seeing where she ends up with more study.It's me and

I commissioned this as a thank-you gift for her editing my book, The Planeswalker: Between Skies. I couldn't have done it without her. She's also generally an excellent person and I'm happy to get a commission of us together, too.
