Saw a character up for adopt whose premise was "the demon that lives in the blue screen of CRT TVs" and went HOOGH that taps into some old, old memories! My childhood CRT was absolutely, utterly haunted by the short circuit from a power surge and would behave all randomly opening menus and changing channels while I was trying to play Super Nintendo. The feel and sound of the static, the weird, uncanny dread, the artificial feel of the old chiptune... Yeah.
