My main character hale has been shown with not one but two "super" modes. Her Harbinger form stems from a ritual her mother did to seal a dark guardian within her as a child. She learned her Awakened form much later from Cheil Tse Lun, whose own Awakened form is shown here.
Awakened forms are usually accompanied by emanations of light, but can otherwise manifest in accordance with the . Hale's ears and tail grow to outlandish proportions, but that sort of thing is not a requirement. Cheil Tse's body simply lights up with a series of Tron lines.
Also demonstrated here is Cheil Tse's favored distance technique, a spinning disc of icy cold chi that she uses to freeze and trap foes in place.
