Recently got my first Australian radio on eBay. This is one of the rare ones. It was only made from August of 1955 to May of 1956. Had to go through some vintage Australian newspapers online to find this ment. It's not a stereo radio. Just a regular AM radio with two speakers. So I guess it didn't live up to the hyped ments. True AM stereo didn't come out until the 1980's. Will post some pictures of the radio that is now repaired.

Fun ment. If that confusing front dial includes a hype meter, it would be pegged out at 11. Thanks for sharing this and am looking forward to seeing your photos of the real McCoy.

I notice that they carefully never actually say it's a stereo radio system. That might be false advertising. They just really, really imply it.
