So... I don't actually hate talking to the cashiers. Necessarily. I hate what it can be like. It's awkward and I'm not great at navigating social situations like that.
Meanwhile, self checkout is great. I don't have to talk to anyone. I can just ring my stuff up, pay for it, and never have to suffer one awkward moment. And then I can leave.
I have more to say on this, but I'll save it for number 9 when I do it. TTvTT
