Lola’s wrong turn at Albuquerque would cost her with a detour to the Jungle. However, Kaa felt too hungry to take the buxom bunny and satisfy his other cravings. No, the second Lola turned around from her carrot patch this time around, the python’s peepers produced the glowing colors infamous in the Jungle.
Lola barely let out a soft gasp over Kaa as a giant snake. Any screams or cries that any girl would’ve let out died in her throat when he looked into his eyes, her mouth hanging agape.
The way one color poured out behind the next. Yellow. Blue. Green. Yellow. Blue. Green. So bright. So soothing. So rhythmic.
So addicting.
Kaa felt a special sort of satisfaction when he saw Lola’s gaping mouth rising into a smile even as she tried to look away. Yet the promise of peace these eyes gave her was too tempting.
Her smile grew into the silliest smile anyone could possibly put on, her buckteeth poking through to complete the brainless expression. Her body became more stiff with her legs standing straight and her arms to her sides like the army’s most devoted soldier. She knew what was happening somewhat yet... she was happy. Anything else didn't matter.
To Kaa, he thought this as a mercy and trade off for him consuming prey at the expense of the years they would never live. For his strong hypnosis would dull the fear of being eaten alive and dilute the intense pain his stomach acids would give to a fully aware prey. One he was done, he was sure that Lola would fade away in peace.
First, one coil looped around her thighs, then one around her belly and another around her neck to brace it. A strong grip to lift Lola up into the branches. Kaa had experience with sudden friend taking umbridge with his choice of prey and knew another bunny could disturb him. Better safe than sorry.
