Hello everyone, looks like I got some more fan artwork to share and show off. So, in the original Pokémon AU idea I had, it was literally just a celebration of many of the creepypastas I grew up with as a kid when I was like... 8 or something with my crappy internet and somehow actually believed those stories. Having an entirely edgy setting, but the main character is too oblivious to the horrors and stuff going on around him. Although that's not to say that his Pokémon that are with him do not and I wanted to create a "Courage the Cowardly Dog" vibe to it. I feel when people satire or "make fun of" creepypastas I think they do it a bit too ham fisted. That it seems it comes out of a place of spite instead of a celebration and laughing at them because they're just... Incredibly silly and funny as it becomes a "children's game that's cursed by an evil spirit" or that it's a Pokémon universe where it's incredibly dark for no reason.
` I kind of wanted to bring that back and an idea that I've been having rolling around in my head for a long time now. Another setting where I don't have to care much about the writing as I create Trainer Timothy to be an incredibly optimistic ball of sunshine in a very pessimistic, gritty and dark world. As we're already hitting staples with the "Lavender Town", "Creepy Old Garage Sale" and "This Pokémon Has Evil Intentions and Looks Exactly like Shadow Lugia with only a few scars." As despite everything I'll probably make this a very lighthearted setting all thanks to the main character. Probably doing on a "Day by Day" update for him as he's probably streaming his adventures.
And... That's about it or at the very least my explanation of the Pokemon fan stuff moving forward. I always enjoyed a lot of comedy... So... Yeah. Anyways, have a good day everyone!
...Also is Lugia a Dragon? A really big bird? I honestly still cannot tell. Also, they are scratching his chin with their big ol' monster hands. She will protect Timothy with her life, even if it means knocking out the other Pokémon in his party for no real reason...
