These gouache postcards are part of a large series where I will be aiming to paint 100 landscapes. These were painted in 2022.
Postcard 29 Woodears - These old mushrooms were spouting all along the forest trail on rotting logs, some had delicate features and some were as large and thick as dinner plates.
Postcard 32 Golden Nectar - The first of my bee series documenting visits from small bees in my yard, along hikes or in forest parks.
Postcard 34 Lilac Wildflowers - The field was filled with these wildflowers, bees and mantis were abound.
Postcard 35 Magenta - This beautiful blue-banded bee was collecting from many flowering plants along a local trail.
