These gouache postcards are part of a large series where I will be aiming to paint 100 landscapes. These were painted in 2020.
Postcard 2 Firetrail - A little slice of autumn colour for this hiking trail.
Postcard 4 Neon Shore - The sea had a very particular neon glow on this morning.
Postcard 8 Seagreen - A warm green colour palette really shows the ominous mood of the overcast sky.
Postcard 10 Oysters - These oysters were a refreshing break among courses at a dinner I had with friends at a commended local restaurant. The desserts were absolutely stunning and I wanted a way to the food long after that night.

my mind interpreted the third postcard completely different at first; i thought it was just a nice pool of water in a shady creek until i read the description. it's a pretty big jump from "cute little babbling brook" to "moody pre-storm ocean tide".
