Mok is perhaps my favorite animated cartoon villain ever. He's definitely up there with Ratigan, Hades, and all of Disney's best iconic villains. I love how he's apologetically evil. The man is literally a satan worshipper and wants to unleash the devil because his album didn't sell that well. That is literally the greatest villain plan ever.

It was a great era for indie films. Disney's downfall created a vacuum for more experimental and darker animated films to reach mainstream audiences. We got Secret of Nimh, Fire and Ice, Rock and Rule.....it WAS awesome.

They even produced Saturday morning Cartoons in Canada. My little pony for the Girls and GI Joe for the boys.. But it Didn't always go that way, LOL

Yeah everything Nelvana made was quality. Even if it was just a tie-in commercial for toys they certainly gave it their all.
