I recently finished watching the His Dark Materials tv series, which was based on the books by Philip Pullman, something of a formative piece of fiction from my youth. The show hit as hard as the books did, and while some of the intricacies got a little lost in the change to a medium, it was faithful all in all to the source material.
This coincided with a drive for art submissions for Confuzzled's print materials, whose theme this year is 'Multiverse' (or, something along those lines), which given that His Dark Materials takes place spanning multiple worlds, seemed like a good fit. So this is my submission to that stack-
Will and Lyra are shown in this piece as anthro representations of their dæmons, Kirjava and Pantalaimons' settled forms (a cat and pine marten, respectively).
