It's always kind of bittersweet for me when a tale comes to a close but I'm always grateful that we can share these moments, feelings, and time together.

Cherry needs their own comic. Though I'm also enjoying the mental image of them eventually dres for Halloween as a mech and pilot duo.
And yeah, I'm thinking on doing little things here and there of them in the future. I know a lot of people want to see Mary Sue transform into something "better" but there's something that sticks with me. That when it comes to harm and pain, when you've been turned into something terrible, you can't ever really go back to what you were. The memories and scars never go away. But you can still be beautiful as who you are, and be accepted for the beauty in your heart that radiates even the things you thought were ugly and bad about yourself.
That is a lovely message of acceptance. Whatever little tidbits you make with all the characters you have created I am sure will be gobbled up with love and excitement. Keep being you, Shane.
As for the theme of being warm, it is more a symbolic theme here as becoming cold to others, losing warmth of life, etc.
