An antelope re why he became a trucker.WATCH HEREThank you all for your patience throughout this year. This animated short is a project I've started working on since the summer of last year.
It has been on-and-off. But for the past few months I have been taking care of it every day, like it's my own baby bird. And now that it's finished. It's time to let it fly.
Doing this makes me happy. And that I get to share it with an audience that will it means more to me that you know.
I know there may be one of you reading this who was around when I was still doing art with pen and paper many years back. To think that you have been around all this time, I cannot describe how grateful I am for that.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU <3

Don't worry about how long it took to finish. It was well worth the wait! 🥰🫂
Thank you!

Your story-telling/idea/message: Holistic. Inspirational. ive. Loving. Caring. Touching. …
Your visual realization: Beautiful. Dedicated. Expertly rendered. Brilliantly through-composed. …
The list of positive descriptors for either category could continue for a long time. Your short-film is on par with those by Pixar.
Thank you!
Especially during our current times, our suffering planet, and the creatures inhabiting it, certainly need more inspiration of this kind!
Thank you!
Please be well, remain strong and positive, preserve your love and kindness! I hope you will continue to enjoy creating your lovely art and sharing it with many, many more people.
Blessings to you and yours – always!
Thanks.
That's special to me, and I hope you know that you are a wonderful animator and artist from hereon. On another note, will we get to see our grown-up antelope lad more? I'd love to see him more and just snuggle into him.
Truly incredible, wonderful, amazing, lovely work, as always. Keep it up, Luke <3
I know for sure my comment shall drown in the the unavoidable and very well-deserved compliments that this short film definitely will get, but I am more than happy to contribute to the giant wave of applause! :D
Absolutely wonderful work on this! I ire your style, both visually and story-telling wise. I enjoyed the music, the sounds, the character and vehicle designs, the symbolism and the over-all feel-good theme - and I applaud your hard-working, persistent efforts and the beautiful result of those all combined! Stunning work <33 :D
Best, Moka <3
As a truck driver....thank you for this. It is beautiful, and you clearly put so much love and care into it.
For everyone else out there...keep on fist-pumping for us, we love it! If I see you doing it in my travels, no matter who you are, I'll happily honk the airhorn for you!
Also, over the course of my time thinking about this at length (over 45 minutes!), I was reminded of hearing a few days ago about how vital those in the trucking profession are.
It must really be something to see such high praise from a few who were fat-fur luminaries going back 15-plus years.

Starting in 1985, my Christmas present from my Pop-pop (AKA Grandfather on my mother's side.) has always been a Hess Truck. Starting with the 1985 first truck:

I still have it. as bent and worn as it is. I stopped opening them and keeping them nice and safe... until he died. My aunts wanted to keep sending me them, but it wouldn't be the same if Pop-pop sent them to me.
Your short made me cry so hard ing my grandfather.
It means alot, thank you.
