More random creature design, this time featuring something I can only describe as "what if a fennec was an octopus?", and I wound up really liking how it turned out.Find Me On:
FurAffinity ◈ WeasylWhile my previous cephalopod alien design from 2021 was sorta interesting, I thought it was a bit on the creepy side, and not all that fun to draw... so I decided to design something a bit simpler, a bit cuter, and a lot more fun.
While I don't plan on outright replacing Ceph with CephaloFox, the former did definitely inspire some aspects of the latter in of coloration and limb design, and I have yet to decide if the two coexist on the same planet, or inhabit different worlds and just coincidentally have similar sandy coloration.

True, but I also find real octopuses to be a strange blend of "cute" and "terrifying" too, very strange creatures...
