Back in 3200 BC in ancient egypt, there loved a selfish pharaoh ruled by the name of Anukhan. However, during his rulership, he never thought of his people, instead, he was selfish, greedy and cruel. He thought of his people as mere weak peasant's. He would take anyones food whenever he wanted, take anyones money or even have their children executed, all because he was pharaoh. One night, the gods, who saw everything he has done, was fed up with his terrorism on the village. So on the same night when Anukhan was asleep, they sent Anubis, the god of death, to deal with him. With one touch, Anubis killed Anukhan.
The next day, when the people found out of his death, they weren’t devastated at all, they were actually happy, now that his reign of terror has finally ended.
After his mummification, his coffin was placed in the great pyramid of Giza.
After another day, Anubis returned in the pyramid of Giza, as there was one final punishment Anubis had to give to Anukhan.
“Anukhan, me and the other gods are disappointed in your rulership. A true pharaoh helps his people thrive from the Nile and beyond. But you have brought chaos and misery towards them, and now your punishment, is that you will never come with me to the afterlife, your soul will forever be trapped as a mummy” said Anubis.
With his words, the coffin opened up, and Anukhan was brought back to life, now as a mummy.
“But I am not finished there, you will not only live as a mummy, I hereby transform you into a beast that is more than a mummy, those who enter here shall be feared by you” said Anubis.
With a snap of Anubis’s fingers, The mummy started changing, he started growing, his muscles started bulging, his ears and teeth became pointed, his body became more canine, fur grew on his feet and ears. He grew a tail, his eyes turned crimson red and his face pushed out to be wolf-like. He was now a hideous monster, a hybrid between a mummy, person and a canine. His voice became deep and grumbly as he made a deep roar. His thoughts changed as well as he was started to act like a mindless, ferocious beast.
“Your curse shall forbid you from leaving this pyramid, I do not care about what you do or where you go in this pyramid, but you are to not hurt anyone who sets foot on these grounds, and you are to not leave this place” said Anubis.
With those final words, Anubis left. Leaving the hideous beast that used to be pharaoh alone, wandering the halls for thousands Upon thousands of years.
People of now who visit the temple will hear vicious roars when they enter the pyramid of Giza. So you better be careful, he may not hurt you, but he can still scare and terrorize you.
