A deep knowledge of sacred geometry allows necromancer to reach into the planes beyond mortal's grasp. Relying upon every single line, every symbol of the dark inscription being flawless, mage pulls out otherworldly energy in the form of impure, corrupting flames. The said flames are unstable in their nature, trying to escape hostile "world of the living" at every second of their existence. But what's more important, is that energy that seeps from the glowing pentagram alerts every single inhabitant of the Grey Planes, and they surely will come rushing to the opened rift very soon. Then necromancer will attempt to weave said flames into threads of pure energy, getting ready to puppeteer the unspeakable monstrosity that will be dragged into the mortal realm.
