It's not so much that it's a bad sex-ed/porn film, it's that it's an absolutely disgusting dick-retracting depiction of the absolute horrors that will result from fornication. They have those in real life, too, but they're primarily geared toward showing personnel why A. they shouldn't sleep with local prostitutes and B. they need to wrap up if they really have to. Lots of close-up photos of servicemen who've contracted incurable and embarrassing venereal diseases. Do you WANT to see up-close-and-personal photos of Pvt Smith's sore-covered dick after he put it in Saigon Sally?

I SAW that video in school back in the 80's. The Naughty Sheyena, however, seems to just be videos of normal spotted hyena relations. Daddy WANT, cuz yeen queens are ever so keen.

Looking on e621 for other artists' ideas of what "anatomically correct-ish" female spotted hyenas look like was what inspired the whole "horror show" sub-arc. I was getting squicked out, and so Fred was going to be squicked out, too.

I've actually cut out five or six strips in this sequence, because the jokes were sliding from "questionable" to "tasteless," and I felt I'd milked the subject for all it was worth.

That is Trooper Lucius Severin. His father is the platoon sergeant seen in the sub-arc about Uri's dalliance with Countess Czhokula. Lucius is at the moment the highest-ranking member of the Four Musketeers, which is why Koz rounded on Uri after Lucius made fun of him for having "an intellectual relationship" with Madam Jade; Koz couldn't attack Lucius but he could attack Uri, according to Crocutan social order.

That's Timo. He doesn't talk much, but he is very intuitive and industrious. He often is able to fill an order even before his CO knows what he wants done. It's why Fred chose him to accompany the heir to Kiyanti. "If I had an army of Timos, I could take over the world. Heck, if I had just four Timos, I could take over the world."

Probably broke the mold when they made him. The real question is whether he was still in it at the time... =P (Somehow, I doubt it. Koz is a more likely candidate for that, and I'm not sure they haven't successfully repeated the experiment!)
