Watched Coraline for the first time in ages recently, and with it being spooky month, I decided it was time to draw a piece of fanart for the film. :D Can't believe the film is 13 years old now! :o
The film remains one of my all time favourite films, and an incredibly entertaining and creepy film adaptation of an incredibly entertaining creepy book by Neil Gaiman that inspire a lot of my current tastes in media. :D So for this fanart, I drew the Other Mother promising her 'love' upon Coraline by offering her the buttons to be sewn into her eyes. Also Awsome work
I think the film helped the story flow a little bit better and it honestly has the buildup to the Other Mother's true nature be more gradual and freakier, and seeing it in a visual medium does aid the atmosphere. :)
