I think Bob will be okay. He's Bob.
Also I really love how Star's drawn in the third , you can really see her more stronger bodytype from the army and training here and also it gives a good contrast in a way as Star LOOKS strong but it discussing something where at the time she's quite vulnerable and as Elly put it, "helpless".
But maybe Elly could?
(Also Yo! Star is responding to me!? YO STAR HOW YOU BEEN GIRL I'M A HUGE FAN!)
Same brain yo
It happens in a non-ABDL capacity.
Star has too much too drink, a rough night that's just worn her completely out, or some other situation where Elly is just like, "Yeah, no, you're done for the night."
There's no kink side to Elly's actions, at least on her end, just making sure her friend gets to bed safe and doesn't wind up on the floor or whatever.
Then afterwards, seeing Star in bed, or even just straight up ugly sleeping/snoring/whatever, just has a moment of: "...Oh, THAT'S what they see in taking care of her."
(I can't, I am just projecting.)
This page makes me happy^^
Are you feeling a bit better Sam? Still hoping for a quick recovery 🍀
Holy...
Elly. You are the most awesome person. Truly a best friend to the end!
Honestly I never truly know what to expect with the pages, but goodness... You really know how to hit all the buttons. Like this page (past few really) have been so close to home for me.
P.S. I hope the ick is leaving you alone Star hope you feel better soon.
Will be probably a challenge for tidy Elly to have a big baby to look after. Maybe getting a playpen for Star would be a good idea? (Just a joke. I don't thin Elly will get too involved with Stars "little" hobby.
We can only hope that Bob was merciful towards Fee...
Bless Elly for being so open minded and kind!
This is the absolute best thing that Star could have hoped for, considering that she and Martin eventually get together (not excluding Kim, ofc)
To not have to hide this from Elly opens up lots more places. I do still worry that Elly blabbed about the spanking thing when Star told her; but it is possible too that she knows she did that and learned from her mistake.
Ms. Sammy, thank you for a new page. I hope you are feeling better!
He's a good friend, even if he didn't fully understand.
I am crying here! Lol!
Congratulations you have now written the most realistic friend I've ever seen in a comic
That's what I wanted to see,
an understanding friend-o
This reference is still relevant right? Right?
Cheese
The smiles on a little is what it's all about.
I figured this is where she was going after the last page. She's seen and heard so much of Star's life, and she was there for what went down with Star's brother. It only made sense this would be her conclusion.
She wants her best friend to be happy, and sees this as an outlet for her stress and release.
And putting down some very reasonable ground rules.
....oooh, she is so gonna give Star a time about the charity event though.
Actually, if anything, if she ever wants to take a playful friendly jab at Star regarding the ABDL stuff, that's the thing she'll be able to say she was talking about if anyone asks.
Soo great 😹
hoo boy, where do I start
the last page I was on star was with Kim and Em looking at the jellyfish was just about to stop to eat lunch.
I always loved their dynamic, allowing star to be more open with her feelings and being more vulnerable with generally no extreme consequence (aside from her commanding officers botched blackmail attempt, he got what he deserved). I've always wanted an outlet to be more vulnerable and emotional but being how my life tends to go sideways after attempting such things, I find it easier to hide the emotions and just not smile. it isn't healthy but it's the only thing that keeps me from falling down with no real good way to get back up again.
Shine has always made me feel smol, and it's sort of a gateway to allow me to be more...soft...that probably isn't the right word to use but close enough
also, congrats to you for Shine being awarded the Ursa Major Award for best graphic novel back in 2021, I never got to congratulate you properly, things have been quite...hectic... lately. I'm just glad I can get back into reading these again
