Caiden is a descendant of a Sun God in his world. So he has the potential to wield the power of the Sun itself!
As we see here, he attempts to become in tuned with his inner sunlight.
Granted, early on in his story, he won't be a master of such power. Perhaps, later on in his life, he can wield such power just like his mother and his ancestor (Possibly his grandfather)
