Wrapped in bandages and clad in a crisp suit, this 'storyteller' from the wastes plays at being human, but in reality, it is nightmare made material. Inspired by John Carpenter's The Thing, the storyteller is a surviving fragment of the shape-changing horror, escaping the Antarctic and now seeking to walk amongst humans. Though, damaged at a cellular level, the creature is unable to create a convincing disguise for itself, making its usual secretive and insidious approach impossible. Instead, it must find a new means to hunt...
Now, the Storyteller seeks out the things mankind is most afraid of, learning our fears and horrors, so that he may strike out directly, using terror as a weapon. It will learn to be the monster under the bed. It will learn to be the thing in the dark. It will learn what nightmares can leave a grown man paralysed in fear. And when its education is complete, his feast will finally begin.
