The game is set on a Pirate-themed chain of islands, where the Pirates are actually the good guys, being made up of those disillusioned with the tyranny of the Empire, who have become extremely prudish in their pursuit of an orderly society.
Rescued from slavery to the Empire when your slave galley was attacked by the Pirates of Haven's Port, you find yourself thrust into the unfamiliar culture of the Haven Isles. A place where sex is casual, clothing is very optional, and there's no one to tell you what you can't do.
