Yet again scraping my knee crawling out of artblock, but escaping nonetheless. As is tradition for me, I have yet another new OC, and he’s monkey (oh hey that rhymed).
Introducing Lei Shen, with the company of Macaque as his mentor. Shen is literally just a younger, more social version of his mentor, but also still a brat. Cunning, deceptive, and a hardcore theatre nerd, he’s was the perfect successor for Macaque. I already have all his info alongside a reference of him to get to know him more, but I wanted this to be his introduction.
I also wanted an excuse to draw Macaque since I’ve never drawn him before and he’s in my top 5 favorite character list. Even if he is a dramatic, smug bastard of a monkie that can’t even die properly. I love him so much 💅✨
