The night was cold and quiet, an unsettling stillness feel over the land. It was unnaturally dark, some unseen force seeming to drain the night sky of its normal light, a thick layer of cloud cover blocking the moon from sight. The forest below is still and the sky is devoid of any nocturnal birds or bats. A faint red glow starts to form as the clouds start to break. As the clearing grows, the surrounding clouds are bathed in that eerie red light as that unnatural blood moon pierces the veil. A shadow es over the celestial orb before it to bursts into red light, illuminated by the sudden haunting flames of the demonic predator, her sight set on some unfortunate prey to sate her appetite.
I've been wanting to explore some more darker themes. I obviously enjoy the cute and serene, but horror has always been something that has held a special place in my heart too. There is something almost therapeutic about feeling that subtle and primal fear creeping up your spine when you watch a spooky movie or explore a dark and mysterious place. So I decided to start playing with these themes a bit, and pay a bit more attention to my demon gal at the same time.
