I recently did some fanart involving a certain space-based character (Don't worry, I'll post it here later), and that got me working on some spacey night skies. Taking that inspiration, I felt compelled to do another night sky picture, and this was the result. I don't draw Mizz Violette nearly enough, and I rarely draw her out of her element, but even a professional tickler needs some time to contemplate, right? ;)
This is actually a scene taken from a personal short story I wrote a couple of years ago where Violette is staying with a friend and overlooks Keeton City from the balcony of their apartment. She gets really thoughtful about the scents and the feelings the spring night evokes, but then her friend interrupts her and asks to her. Who is this mysterious friend? Maybe I'll make a comic someday of the scene, and you can find out! For now, though, I just wanted to capture that moment of the light coming on and her friend getting her attention.
I really enjoyed making this. I like working with Violette in general, but I especially enjoy these purple-y night tones and the city in the background. It came out pretty much how I wanted it to, which is rare.
I hope that you all enjoy it too :)

That does look like a scene where a Disney song would start up, doesn't it? ;)

Thank you :) The story that this image is based on isn't about tickles, but I'm sure some would still pop up, knowing Violette ;) I do plan to make a comic focused on tickles later, though, so don't fret!

Gazing the landscape is cool. It makes you feel small but at the same time you don't mind because you feel like you are part of something big.

Quite an observation :) That's a nice way to overcome that feeling of vastness that can be rather scary when taking a big scene in. I'm sure Vi is thinking something similar, seeing herself as part of something bigger.
