On the drive home, Winter and I stopped at a Cracker Barrel in northern Mass for dinner. I got some assorted sodas and candy. Did you know, I've lived in Maine for twenty years and still haven't tried Moxie.

You'll find that one different from what we have here in Maine. Local cans use high-fructose corn syrup like most soft drinks. What you have here is an Orca Beverages bottle of Moxie using cane sugar. Much better IMO over HFCS. They bottle a lot of the old time soft drinks you can't find easily anymore and supply them to Cracker Barrel and others. Orca is located outside of Seattle.
