Deep in the South Atlantic ocean far off the coast of Africa is a remote, artificial island. A sprawling Futuristic city in the shape of an eye is surrounded by A painted Mesa, a sizzling Desert, a magical Forest, a snake infested Jungle, A sunny Beach Resort, and a Gloomy Factory.
At the center lies a needle like Tower called The Pendulum visible no matter where you stood on the island. Its host observes the entrants making their way off the cruise ships and to explore the territory of Cognizant. VIPs and guests from all over the world populate the isle under the guise they are here for an all expenses paid vacation only offered to a select few. The contract was clear, concise, and described phrases like "potential permanent mental alteration, interaction with other mentalists, exposure to high technology and magic." Of the two million participants offered, only a fraction signed the agreement. Which is exactly what he wanted; The select few willing to take that kind of risk are exactly the kind of people that would thrive in Project Cognizant.
After three days of bringing the population to a near 100,000, A chime echoed through the island.
A holographic projection of a silhouetted canine broadcasts above the tower. Large enough for all to see.
"Greetings. My name is Darkwitt. Welcome to the Island of Cognizant. A paradise far from prying or judgmental eyes. You are here because each of you are either capable hypnotists, or receptive subjects of note. Take a moment look around you. So are they. Over the next 30 days, you are encouraged to take part in hypnosis, mind control. Build a harem, start a gang, take territory if you wish. Use whatever is at your disposal, there is no limit. Even the staff have a history and experience with hypnosis in one way or another. of course, you are also encouraged to enjoy yourselves, so if you wish to just take a vacation, understand there will be people on the hunt, so mind your step. So, Denizens, please:
Remain Cognizant."
The crowd was mixed. Some were overjoyed, others nervous, others blushing. Glancing at each other, ID Badges on each of them indicated if they were hypnotists or dedicated subjects. But four hypnotists in the crowd were playing a different game
Leaders handpicked by Darkwitt hoping to stake their claim.
And take Cognizant for themselves.

Okay. So WHAT IS COGNIZANT?
UPDATE 2025 : Cognizant is a Digital Simulation that was built to analyze will power and harness the energy built up from the loss and acquisition of free will. Permitting Darkwitt to leave this plane of existence and search for the origins behind the Triangle that has defined his forces for years. At the end of the First event, Kai Tyde, the Rock and Roll Dragon, was given the right to run the program, which he is now hypnotically compelled to do aided by his brother, Jasper. Rockjaw and Nymfi, two of the other masterminds, still help him run operations of their own free will, While the last Mastermind, Dr. Bright, has escaped and is now at large.
Every year, Hypnovember features a new territory within Cognizant. Exploring new Masterminds for people to vote for and participate, as well as get a brand new group of character for anyone to use as they like.
YEAR ONE: Cognizant Isle
YEAR TWO: Street Urchins, Focault City.
YEAR THREE: Pier Paradise, Ayurveda.
YEAR FOUR: The Drone Arms Race, Facility 18. (YOU ARE HERE)
Project Cognizant is an event that will give hypnovember a cohesive narrative that everyone can participate in however they like. It's an island with biomes of all types so whatever you do, it can take place in this event. I'll be posting the prompts, and more details on each of these characters and the location (including a map and breakdown of biomes)

So what is this?
Basically I made a Westworld/jurassic park for hypnotists and you spend a month trancing each other as according to the Hypnovember prompts (posted later). It's basically a shared setting for a hypnosis themed art challenge that all are invited to participate.
What's this about these four leaders though?
I've written my own tale with these original characters connecting all of the prompts into a single story. That's where the Masterminds come in. so even non artists/writers can enjoy a story that is showing something bigger is going on. This is meant to be both a love letter to the entire spectrum of the furry hypnosis community, and an opportunity to tell a fun story that everyone can engage in.
So are the four hypnotists you showed the only ones that can participate?
No. Everyone can trance and tell their own stories or just do hypno drawings however they like. the idea is that the story that I'm personally telling is part of a bigger picture. You are even allowed an encouraged to play around with any of these settings, characters, or designs.
What if I want to have my story do something with them?
You can! please have fun! Do what you like! I am not meant to restrict you, merely give you ammunition to do what you like.
Can I trance your leaders?
If you're willing to let them get away at the end so they can continue their story, Sure!
The only exception is Darkwitt. I personally would not feel comfortable with people doing that kind of stuff to him, I.E. me.
I don't have any hypnotists but I want to draw/write/RP.
My characters are at your disposal, I made these characters specifically for this event for people to have fun.
Can I add things to Cognizant (Locations, buildings, ideas)?
YES! AND! We would love to see you contribute ideas. We will provide a map soon but they're very open to interpretation with a few established structures that you can play with.
What if I want to just do the prompts?
That's okay! Cognizant is such an open concept that you don't have to know anything about it to draw something that takes place in it. Your art/story/RP is on cognizant if you want it to be. We just want to play with a world that has some specifics and you are more than invited to take part.
Is this Family Friendly?
No. but you don't need to have sex in your stories and art. Just that it's meant to be for a more adult crowd.
