Here’s Onyx’s tribe working on the latest bit of clothing for her. She always needs quite large bits of fashion creating, but with the whole town working together on it with help from Onyx herself, they can always make sure she’s looking her best.

There's actually a lot of truth to that. After this picture, she's actually aquired a bunch of tooth/stone jewellery, like the one being fashioned in the top left of the picture. She's also got a different outfit now.

If nobody else is gonna, Onyx is more than ready to invent fashion herself. You can't be the biggest name in fashion if there's nobody else wearing proper outfits, after all!

There's plenty of other macros around it could have come from. Perhaps an old skeleton or such. Same for Onyx's bone, there's no point laying around dead when you could be making someone look fashionable!
