wanned to post this just to people know i aint dead. Want to paint this so its probably gonna take a long ass time to finnish, but this is one of my oldest characters and she deserves it. was also thinking id try my dyslexic hand at writing a short story to accompany it, well see. Man wanna play oblivion again.

So you use a color layer or gradient to color that background?

Just colored in the values in grayscale all on one layer, to get a feel for how i wanned to balance the brightness. No gradient on this

ya i fond the gradient on clip to be to cumbersome. so you just painted them on in a color layer then?

i usually do my flatcolors and shading first and then fiddle around with gradient and overlay layers in the end for fine tuning
