First I've drawn Spino with this actually being visible or featured. It's a rather big moment in The Spinosaurus, as his finger is hacked off and used by a group of scientists to create Shadow, and then from him Version Two and Void. Here, he is clearly reflecting on the loss. This is not based on any specific scene from the book, just rather the overall continuity. As such, it won't be placed in the scene illustration folder.
