Part 2 of
Squishi latest bundle, seems he was impressed with my recent-ish cinderace render for the Dips trade, so he asked me to try something with a bit more of a close-up. I wasn't sure what to do with the background, since I didn't want it to look TOO close to the previous render, so I tried making it more of a forest or park with trees all around, but then all the green wasn't matching cinderace's colors, so... I tried orange leaves and it looked surprisingly good~ Lighting was also a challenge, Cinderace was sticking out like a sore thumb at first, but I managed to make it work somewhat, getting the light to shine through some leaves did the trick. The bokah from the defocus also looks pretty good in this, you can see it specially on the top-right corner... I wanted the effect to be even stronger, but increasing the DOF made cinderace's body too blurry, had to manage a sweet-spot for it. In the end, I'm very happy with how this looks!
