* Production - This image was easier to do than last week's full body scene because most of this was character and not background. Once the line art was completed the next step was the background which didn't take as long to get done than the Garuromon. Darker shades of color was used as a base, then successive layers of increasingly lighter colors were added and mixed until the lighting effect was created. The mouth itself was difficult because of the way the shadows were supposed to appear on one side of it but in the end the effect was achieved. Once the mouth was done finishing work was completed, additional shading, reverse shading and highlighting were added. So far I think that this is the best maw shot I've done when it comes to the mixing of colors, shading, highlighting and the overall look.
Story - Short story to this one, its the sequel image to last week's picture that showed me up on a ladder taking a picture of this view. I knew some of you would want to see what my point of view looked like when the Garurumon was closest to me so here you go.
