Since I didn't draw him in my previous piece of Space fanart, did so while also showcasing my HC Cassiopeians' ears are not rigid and can move and they actually have fangs. My guess is this humanoid alien species is mainly carnivorous and before civilization would hunt down preys which would demand to tear them apart with fangs and being able to hear sharply. Also let's say their vision is great too. This could be why most of them are violent or at least fight thirsty, like the General. Predatory instincts, they want blood to shed
